Well, this is it. It’s deadline day.
Midnight tonight marks the end of the latest fundraising quarter — the first big deadline since Carly Fiorina won the Republican primary — and there are fewer than 14 hours left.
All the press and pundits are going to scrutinize our June 30 fundraising report to try to measure our campaign’s strength — and they’ll be watching to see if we reach our ambitious $250,000 end-of-quarter grassroots goal.
I know we can do it, with your help. Can I count on you?
You and I know that this election presents the voters of California with a clear choice — probably the clearest choice in the whole country.
Which candidate will fight for jobs and for our families, and which candidate is most in touch with the people of California?
If you look at my record of accomplishment in the Senate on jobs, healthcare, our environment, and defending a woman’s right to choose — versus my opponent, Carly Fiorina, who is running on her failed record as CEO of HP where she laid off 30,000 workers and shipped American jobs overseas, wants to criminalize abortion, and wants to “drill, baby, drill” — the choice couldn’t be clearer.
But we’ve got to reach out and make sure that millions of voters know the truth.
