  1. Thomas Hofer says:

Hi Barbara, I hope that you in turn will do all you can to pass the healthcare bill that will guarantee every American health care, as well as vote to end the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

  2. I watched you 2 nights in a row re Climate Control & I was amazed that the Senators of the congress were not w/you & John Kerry. This is essential not only for this country, but for the whole world.
I believe in pro-choice, Naral & abortion for you girls who have sex & parents do not want the child. Lets make sure the Health Care takes care of the women & children for education.

  3. Diane Eardley says:

Thank you, Senator Boxer. You work hard for us and you’ve become a real champion in the last several years. You are a winner and a force to be reckoned with in the Senate. You will always have my support as long as you keep fighting for the people. THANK YOU!

  4. Thank you for your thank you and thank you for so much that you have done over the years!

HOWEVER, someone in politics has got to somehow — I do not believe it is impossible — get the country to understand that our Country is so great largely due to SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE. One person cannot force their beliefs on another, BUT we are all free to follow our own beliefs. MY TAXES PAY FOR LOTS OF THINGS I DON’T BELIEVE IN, BUT THAT’S WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT.

Why is there a Hyde Amendment? Why is there ever any discussion about such a sensitive, personal part of human health in the civic arena? WHY? BECAUSE IT INVOLVES WOMEN and women have always allowed themselves to be scapegoated, abused, and used. WE HAVE TO STOP THIS. This is NOT a political issue and should stop being used as one RIGHT NOW.

This “abortion” issue, this “reproductive rights issue,” has got to stop being a political football, and NOW IS THE TIME.

    Please. Please. Please.

  5. Lee Liberman says:

    Barbara,

Yesterday Carly Fiorina blamed the loss of jobs in the San Joiquin Valley on an environmental measure of yours. Can you please reply back and dispel this likely falsehood?

I’m from Boston then NYC and I’m proud of your service. Carry on!

  6. David Arnett says:

Every day I receive requests to contact my senator to advocate for one progressive cause or another, from the environment to veterans’ affairs. In most cases I can reply that I don’t need to contact my senator because my senator is Barbara Boxer and she is already on the forefront. Always on the forefront. That’s my senator, Barbara Boxer. Thank you, Senator Boxer.

  7. Jay Gordon says:

You do the hard work, Senator! It’s easy to write a check or authorize a credit card payment. We helped you exceed the goal because you continually exceed expectations of what can be accomplished in Washington. You’re one feisty lady, and we love you for it!

  8. Dear Honorable Senator Boxer,

We have always voted for you, but never (until now) donated to your campaign. Your work on behalf of Californians has been remarkable. I challenge anyone to read your voting record who may dispute this fact.

We need to stand behind you even stronger now that the Republicans are scheming to launch an unknown, in an attempt to unseat you in the in the next election. Never trust a Republican.

    We love you Barbara.

  9. Andrew Kerr says:

From the Kerr Family in Long Beach, “thank you” Senator Boxer. You are always the one member of Congress we can count on to fight the battles that are most important to us. It’s our turn now to help you fight this next battle in 2010. It’s our pleasure and we will be there for you whenever and however we can.

  10. William Theuer says:

Senator you and your team are simply the best. I am proud to be on board. Your participation adds up to a win for our country. Thank you so much for your defense of public service, process and purpose.

  11. LaFaye C. Sutkin, Ph.D. says:

I am so proud to have you as my Senator. My friends in other states envy me.
I sometimes write to tell you my thoughts, but many times I just know that you are going to vote exactly as I would vote.
There is not enough space to thank you for all your efforts to keep this nation on track to take care of all of its citizens, not just the wealthy or right wing fundamentalists. You have demonstrated repeatedly that your base is the American people – whether they recognize it or not.
I know you will continue to help us in the fight for health care reform that includes a public option, and I know that you will continue to fight for an environment that will support our children, and I know you can be counted on to vote for measures that will resuscitate our economy.
    Thank you so much!

  12. John Moylan says:

Keep up the good work! California needs you! The working people of America Needs you!
You have to be reelected! Good luck!
